Yarrr…Protect your booty

After the latest pirate attacks on cargo ships, private yacht owners were warned against the threat of piracy. Hmmm…guess I’ll have to cancel my sailing trip to Mogadishu. It’s too bad, because the Somali riviera is supposed to be fantastic this time of year.

Sigh. Guess I’ll have to go to the Caribbean instead.

Turkey hangover

Blech. Too…much…turkey… On a day like this, after a huge meal, your stomach needs something normal and soothing. Like Lay’s Rotisserie Chicken potato chips. Not your style? Maybe you’d prefer their Ham & Cheese chips. No? Then you’d love their Mustard & Pickles chips. BARF! If you’re crazy enough to try them, you can find them in Tunisia. (As in Luke Skywalker’s house, and home of the real Tatooine). Here’s a video featuring a Tunisian Star Wars set.

Sacred Cows

Well, my recent trip to India is official- I saw a sacred cow wandering through traffic. Kinda like an invincible frogger.

What a fascinating country- I hope I can go back again. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to take as many pictures as I wanted to. I did snag a decent picture of the Taj, though…

Jazz the Vote!

Election day at last! Whomever you vote for, get out there and Jazz the Vote! Er…I mean Folk the Vote! No, that’s not it…. Pop the Vote? Well, you know what I mean.
